The Return

It’s been a month since I wrote anything here. To the few regular readers of my blog (there’s at least two, thanks mum), Sorry, I’ve been really busy.

I’ve been reading a lot of books on advertising thanks to honours, and working on a lot of shitty spec ads thanks to AWARD school.

Unfortunately, reading intelligent books makes your blog-posts feel infinitely inferior and makes other blogs seem endlessly pointless. On reading all my books and spending all my time on AWARD school, I’ve taken an unofficial, and not very thorough, internet hiatus. (Especially after The Guardian said news is bad for you).

Taking a bit of a break has been good, although I feel a bit out of the loop. A lot of people seem to think their lives would be better without the internet, however as tech-writer Paul Miller can tell you, the problems you have online, are the same problems you’ll have offline.

Anyway, not really sure of the purpose of this post, so If you’ve made it this far, I’m sorry. Just wanted to say keep posted, I’ll put up some of the stuff I’ve been reading and what I’ve learnt from AWARD school soon. Also, I’ve realised that the biggest problem with my blog is that it really lacks direction or purpose, a reason for people to come back and read (apart from if they know me), so stick around for a re-brand.

P.S. Cheers for the shout-out Sarah, I do read your blog, just in epic backlog style.
